This was my third match. Crowd work is hard as fuck for me, and there's a spot we kinda messed up, but I had a lot of fun and got good feedback. It's the funniest shit I've ever done. Ref fucked up but it was only his 5th match too. DUDE FUCK YES! You seemed way better than the other guy he didn't do much. Random possibly unwanted thoughts: I liked that you didn't rush anything. Fight back a bit more at the beginning, you kind of died right away. I wanted you to do a sunset flip or something from the outside after the headbutt (which was cool). Bean him more with your clothesline. My coaches taught me to go chest on chest and try to get your arm past their head instead of having your arm go across the chest. Might save a dislocation in the future too. Get some boots! You'll look way bigger and much more doper since you're already tall and have a cool look.

I really appreciate the feedback and will definitely work on it. I really do need to get boots asap.

Who wants to bet Vince gets a massive applause and a number of rotund men in the audience still bow to him and do the "we're not worthy" thing. This is gonna be ridiculous.

Clothesline actually looks fine, I think it's just a Norcal thing where you're taught to be safely stiff as shit. Even something simple like up and over, block his punch, headbutt while holding his head, bend his head down, sunset flip would have been a cool simple babyface spot. The other guy should have set you up for something cooler instead of just stumbling over to you though.

Yea how much you wanna bet he's still gonna do the power walk and all the guys who paid $1000+ for first row seats collectively jerk off in markdom obviously I'm setting my DVR to record it so I will have this moment of history captured forever on a hard drive but still its going to be the corniest shit WWE has ever done because the fans are basically gonna support him.

I hope it goes the complete opposite direction and heβs booβd out of the building, or Johnny Ace comes out and they announce themselves as the new Dynamic Dudes.

Starting to think NOAH would let me work for them if I asked I've been thinking about this lately, I'm a 33 year old male in great shape lift 5 days a week run parkour super athletic for my age etc etc and companies like NOAH and Impact always hire these average as hell looking guys who aren't even that athletic and it's like WTF is this all it takes to become a wrestler and get booked in a somewhat major promotion because obviously most of us can take the punishment in the ring from the lives we've lived. Shout out to all the guys in this thread who train you never know maybe one day Cliffrose and Jibbons will be jobbers for Impact and make their way up to mid card lol.

i think this is the guy that runs the DDT English accounts (or used to) he uploaded a full english interview with ASUKA/Veny and pulled out a lot of good information for the overseas fans, especially regarding gender and how she wishes to navigate those waters. if you check his channel, he recently put one up with Rina Yamashita as well he used to. they seemed like they had an awkward falling out? it seemed like he was just a dude who was close to the company in whatever capacity so he started doing a ton of translation stuff with tjpw/ddt then when it started to kinda pop he was basically like yeah i won't be doing this anymore. i noticed recently ddt has a new english acc? so i'm guessing there was some sort of business falling out like hey i'm worth this etc etc but yeah he seems like an insanely nice dude and the rina interview was great so i'm looking forward to this venny one thanks for reminding me

Shout out to all the guys in this thread who train you never know maybe one day Cliffrose and Jibbons will be jobbers for Impact and make their way up to mid card lol. I still only have 1 year of training under my belt but from what I can gather it's mostly about longevity, luck, and politics. Wrestling is the hardest thing I've ever done and it's so easy to get burnt out/injured and quit. For example, my coaches are two of the best wrestlers I've ever seen but are hot heads and have old heat with the Bucks and WWE so they're kind of capped at wrestling high level indies and running a school (which they're fine with). I'm so glad I watched a Regal interview like 10 years ago where he said to get a college degree/career before you ever start getting into wrestling because I'm really just happy to be around and am excited to see how far I can go. I know people who are putting all their eggs in the wrestling basket and I can tell it's extra stressful for them.

I mean thatβs an obvious shop, but I thought heβs been on a major news network at least once before for Benoit, right?

See, I never just did things just to do them. Come on, what am I gonna do? Just all of a sudden jump up and grind my feet on somebody's couch like it's something to do? Come on. I got a little more sense then that.
Yeah, I remember grinding my feet on Eddie's couch.

Big Dave was doing the media rounds for Benoit. Al Snow still fucking cries about it to this day. "Why do they call a guy who's never wrestled to comment on wrestling news stories? Why not Hulk Hogan or Ric Flair?" Like CNN wants fucking carnies going "let me tell you something brother, WOOO!"
How is it possible NOBODY in WWE has the balls to tell Vince going on Smackdown tonight is the worst possible thing he could do?

Lol at that "Of course he is" from Tapper after the journalist covering the story told him that Vince was planning on being on Smackdown tonight.

This is exactly why you never bet against Vince. Society correctly made the conclusion 40 years ago that Vince is a sleazy carny and is not to be taken seriously, and has treated him accordingly and dismissed his behavior ever since.
