It's unreal what a superstar Okada comes off as. He just exudes charisma at all times. And I know it's not good when the title makes the wrestler instead of the other way around, but the IWGP Title really helps Jay White out.
Also, it turns out Thunder Rosa wasn't a sandbagging SOB, Marina Shafir is just awful. I remember her saying no one respects her because she was trained by the WWE and....yeah, that's what you get.

Anyone else hear that little girl scream "CERO MIEDO!" during the Penta match and then the crowd laughed. Literally sounded like a 12 year old girl screaming her lungs out, was the highlight of the show for me, wrestling rules.

Also Marina Shafir may be awful, but she had a better match with Toni Storm than Britt Baker did. Baker is much worse than Shafir give her a break she has legitimate fighting experience and we need more legit badasses like her in the struggling piss break non existent AEW woman's division

This card reminds me of the ROH/NJPW MSG show in the fact that it was a bit announcement then when it came to the booking it was extremely underwhelming. Hopefully Iβm wrong come this weekend and it ends up being good.

Like, these are two different companies with two different mindsets coming together to navigate an injury-riddled political mindfield to book a show. We were never gonna get a card filled to the brim with dream matches. I'm planning on having a good time regardless. I'll leave the hate to the Statler's and Waldorf's of the thread that evening. Catch me doing a Rainmaker pose and chanting "Go Ace!" in the nosebleeds. |

Eddie's been talking shit about Claudio for most of this year so that's the best fit I think. Eddie can be at odds with him and it maintains the dynamic that was there with Dragon with even more direct history between the two guys.
