Nah, buffalo to Albany is about 4 1/2 hours and Albany to nyc is about 2 1/2. Youβll be drawing different crowds and maybe even some of the same hardcores to multiple shows.

Logistically itβs a good route. You have more than enough distance for each stop, Canadian tourism for Buffalo, and high fuel/travel prices have less people going from Albany to NYC/NYC to Albany.
