Hasn't Kenta done anything good in like, years?
I mean, it's fun to talk shit but Punk on a different level. High profile PPV main events. Kenta can't do that. Be mad about it, but it's the truth. The last cool thing Kenta did was when he wrestled through that one Ishii match where he got a concussion lol and that had to be years ago. He wen't to New Japan after NXT and it felt like he was going to go on a tear, but has anybody REALLY cared about anything he's done? idk man. Am I forgetting some really good match or something?

and for what its worth, kenta isnt exactly sucking sour grapes i saw a tweet that says he explained in a july 2021 meet and greet interview w/e that he isnt mad that punk or anyone else does it, its the fact the E told him no and basically got the run around when trying to understand why he couldnt create a move he had MADE

Slim Sugiura vs. Kenta was magic. Thick Sugiura vs Kenta was always a slugfest too. Injuries have slowed Kenta down a little bit and whatever the fuck they do at NXT hurt him a little, but he's still badass. He can definitely still go and still has good matches. He works smarter now but everything's still there.

Kenta vs Tanahashi at Kingdom was great albeit terrifying. His heel turn where they beat up Shibata was probably the best turn I've seen in years. He ain't what he used to be but he still rocks, had a great match w ZSJ in the G1 recently.
But seeing him show up in ROH in like 05/06 Was the coolest shit, he felt like the baddest dude on the planet. So awesome. Kenta rocks and has my love forever

Meltzer seems to think Punk's getting fired and then suing for wrongful termination. Sounds like he talked to the Bucks because he also dispelled the rumor that the Elite have any interest in going to WWE.
Would suck to lose a top draw over some shit that could've easily been talked out, but if the choice is Bucks/Kenny/Hangman vs. Punk, pretty clear choice.
