dont know why this happened but i would like to see it Marufuji probably my all time favorite wrestler. That early Kentafuji tag stuff is straight up some futuristic wrestling shit that still melts my mind to this day. When the dude's on autopilot its agonizing but when he's on there are so few that come close to him. |

The Righteous can execute moves properly, they can bump and they have a silly gimmick, but they still manage to be so fucking bland and uninteresting. They're like guys who come through the performance center, I just have no interest in watching them and their matches are technically sound and completely emotionless and bad.

Is it too late to sell my ticket to Grand Slam? I'm only looking forward to the Claudio Kingston match I got my ticket for dirt cheap but this year I would be going by myself tbh it just doesn't seem worth it. I'm trying to convince myself I'll have a good time but the card honestly stinks

last time AEW had a "card doesn't seem worth it" show was all out, and it completely overdelivered. so while i agree that card doesn't blow my hair back i expect them to step up again.

There's a thing about workplaces where people say "if you just hang around long enough and don't get in trouble, you'll move up" and this feels like a good way to describe these guys. I used to love going to ROH shows but man, the Kingdom matches, Taven matches, Vinny Marseglia matches, they were all just so boring. And seeing these guys elevated now because they're the ones that are just hanging around and also have friendships with important people, it really makes me feel like watching AEW is just a total waste of my time. I don't want to see the stuff that bored the shit out of me 10 years ago. Like I knew some of these guys would land in AEW eventually but it's a double whammy with a lot of them showing up on cards at the same time Punk leaves. Like not only is some of the good stuff gone, but here's more bad. I still think I'd feel even dumber if I tried watching WWE, like I'm not going to pretend that this makes WWE good just because AEW is mucking up their roster with a buncha ROH leftovers that literally nobody else wanted. But it does kinda make WWE seem a little less bad? Atleast if I watch Survivor Series or whatever, I don't have to see Mike Bennett and fuckin Vinny Marseglia. And yeah I know those guys are on different teams, it's all the same Young Buck-affiliated trash to me. |
