eddie wrestling shibata on the ppv, tomas in the mud
cant wait to hear about eddie doing the kobashi chops or the kawada kicks while he fights a dude who has nothing to do with those dudes and they bring up some sort of dream it is to wrestle one of the 'new three musketeers' or some garbage

Ok serious question: Letβs assume AEW fails, do the indies ever recover? AEW did more to decapitate the indies than HHH / NXT ever did. why would we assume a successful company would fail
what does the indies recovering even mean? i'd bet in some ways rn its more lucrative than it was before. the talent may never be what it was a few years ago but thats simply just the shift in pro wrestling. people aren't trying ot be the best wrestler like the people they looked up to the entire landscape as we know it is different. wreslting isnt just gonna kneel over a die. if aew wen't away these dudes would just find jobs elsewhere and the talent itself would just remain

Are we acting like wwe didnβt sign anyone with buzz for almost a decade, while doing nothing with most of them leaving newer wrestlers no one to work with and learn from? Donβt forget killing off the entire euro scene just so World of Sport couldnβt get a reboot.

Ok serious question: Letβs assume AEW fails, do the indies ever recover? AEW did more to decapitate the indies than HHH / NXT ever did. The indies wouldn't need to recover, there are A LOT of money marks in this world more than you think, another nepo baby money mark (this time most likely Saudi) would just start a new fed, get a short term TV deal and just scoop everyone up. The only reason why you don't see more money marks popping up and creating feds is because everyone is already taken lol. There will always only be room for just two mainstream companies, if AEW dies a new one will be born, and likely I said before most like owned by the Saudis so just pray that day never comes.

it did in fact rock. tsuji is so good already. Yeah this was a fantastic match! i don't love his look i don't love his gear but i've been OVERLY pleased with how he works in the ring and how quickly he already seems to be cooking. good to kinda get another younger face in LIJ because if naito's sun is to set soon you gotta have something to carry the torch

new "wrestlers" doc on netflix is cool Yeah I really enjoyed it. Was done really well. And with Ziggler. I am a complete fucking mark for him. When I worked for wwe catering, one of the big rules is to not initiate conversation with the talent, unless they talk to you first. But I broke that rule all the time. He was passing me in the hallway and I was just like, fuck it. βHey I know weβre not supposed to do this. But youβre one of my favorite wrestlers and that cash in is one of my favorite moments in wwe everβ And he was super cool about it and we just shot the shit for a minute. He was all smiles. Dude is cool as shit.

Yea that's pretty much me too when it comes to Ziggler I can't really deny it. I've always felt that what truly makes an incredible wrestler is his ability to sell for the other man. Ziggler just like RVD, is so talented at selling for his opponent that he makes his opponents look better than they actually are. And the "he's old" argument doesn't work, Danielson is old it doesn't matter if you like a style then you like it. It just so happens that most people here don't like Dolph Ziggler and are internally very jealous of him and the fact that he once got to bang Amy Schumer, a milestone that no one here will ever achieve.

RVD spiked himself for the goofiest stuff, his selling always looked unique and brutal. Although it was usually so over the top that maybe it only made HIM look good and not the other guy

The way duke wrote his post made him sound like Bryan Danielson though. RVD was a lot of things but a great seller was not really one of em. He sold SOME stuff very well but we're not talking about 80s Ric Flair here.

I half remember seeing rvd vs lynn in Philly and rvd straight kills himself. Zigs is just way more bouncy. Not like hulk vs shawn, but believable. I dunno, he fucking rocks. Heβs a crash test dummy. And I hope he goes to AEW or basically anywhere. Donβt feel like not watching him wrestle anymore. He makes people look good.

ziggler cash in was so crazy cause he was a heel with so much heat and the moment his music hit and he came out with the briefcase(and proceeded to do the most chickenshit heel cash in) the whole place came unglued and suddenly he was a face going forward

Rumors that HHH and Steph are getting divorced. How insanely funny would it be if HHH was just waiting for the mcmahons to no longer technically own the company then files for divorce.

People are quick to forget that Ziggler banged Sunny in her HOF induction era just before she entered her HOG era.
