Tony Khan will forever push the "pillars" of the company. Even though one is legitimately worthless (Sammy Guevara), one is actually worthless (Jack Perry), one of them gets booked into the worst programs even though he was one of the most over dudes in the beginning of the company (Darby Allin), and one of them is leaving for WWE next year (MJF).

Even against Shida, Saraya needed 2 run ins and a whole bunch of tomfoolery. Thank god indeed they took the strap. Edge worked his ass off which is still Edge working his ass off, but it was noticeable how hard the dude was trying. Good show.
Both AEW and WWE had 30 minutes commercial free, AEW put on Bryan Fucking Danielson wrestling Swerve for 30, WWE put on that fucking dork Cody cutting a 20 minute promo he always cuts. Really tells you everything you need to know about the two companies.

So I watched most of dynamite last night. As always dragon match was very good. Pretty much everything else had me snoozin, literally, woke up to the tail end of the shida match. other than seeing the Toni storm bit I was pretty checked out. I don’t care about edge.

What do you all think of that trailer? Does look good. At first I thought “not crazy enough!” But I realized if you do want to humanize the Von Erich’s you would tell this story, overbearing carny dad pushed them until they mentally and physically broke. Not just “OMG Kerry was so high and killed animals and was stupid”
