I think i remember a great houseshow at my buddy Troy's too a few years later Just realized you got the dude from CRUCIFIED on Book of Death, god damn that band whipped ass. They also came to Victoria maybe around like 2009 with Creatures (I think?) and blew us all away. Anyway, stoked to hear the new stuff coming down the pipes! |

if memory serves me, shelton was like a big time collegiate wrestler in his weight class. Yeah roomed with Lesnar at college I believe. It's actually always interesting to find out what wrestlers are legit. Dolph is the biggest one for me, doesn't really carry himself as a pro like he was an absolute machine wrestler in college. On Shelton, team angle/worlds greatest tag team were awesome back in the day and got broken up too soon. Their ladder match with Eddie and Tajiri as well as against Kidman and Rey, were all sick. Would have been interesting if they came up later, might have got a much longer run. Or if they'd been two years earlier and mixed it up with Hardys and Dudleys and shit. |

Imagine Shelton and Haas being in the real world tag league back in the 90s against like Furnas and LaFon and anyone else from that era. Shelton was severely underrated, Charlie wasnβt as good but still was good.

Rewatched the 2004 rumble last night.
Itβs insane that Benoit won it starting at 1 while absorbing an absolute cruel amount of punishment the entire time. Every bump is really hard to watch.

I had never heard of that before, that was cool. He did pretty good considering I'm assuming he's not trained as a wrestler. Both dudes landed rough going over the top there. I liked Mike's jumping back elbow.
