WAR CORMIER.
But I would be fine with Stipe winning, too. 2 sweet dudes.

Cormier will get an impressive takedown or two, Stipe eventually lands a cross and Daniel gonna cry

Pretty excited for next week’s card. It’s hard to bet against Stipe or DC. I know Stipe has good wrestling, but have we seen him against anyone whose wrestling comes close to DC? It’s easy to forget that DC was rag dolling HWs before he moved to LHW.
Holloway and Ortega should be fun too. I think Holloway takes it though. Unless Ortega can get it to the ground, I think Max pieces him up on the feet.

He hasnt gone professionally against a good wrestler but, my guess is stipe defends it super well and then out strikes dc. its gonna be semi depressing cause dc handles loss so poorly

Very much looking forward to the card. It’s such a big one, that I say we get an old chat going for it.

I’m glad you guys survived the boardpocalypse. This was the only thread I posted in with any regularity.
I keep forgetting the Ngannou/Lewis fight is on this card. Either someone is going to sleep early or it turns into a real shitfest. I don’t think there’s an in between.

Lewis is more than likely getting RIPed in that one. It's going to be a wonderful trainwreck.

I got Ortega by submission. Holloways got a lot of limb to get ahold of.

He'll still be a top-10 heavyweight that can threaten anyone not in the Stipe/Ngannou/Werdum/Cain teir

I'd like to think it's going to be a train wreck until the third, when one of them digs deep in the well and ko's the one who can't pick his arms up fast enough.

Lewis could lose 10 straight and he’d probably still be one of my favorite fighters.

Also, now that the thread is started by somebody who still posts, and can be changed, can we get a real title in this bitch?

I lurked the board for the last 4/5 years specifically for this thread so I figured I’d start posting on this new one. Been looking forward to this card since it was announced. DC/Stipe should be a fantastic fight but in the end I think Stipes boxing will be the difference. Max/Ortega is probably the best FW matchup in a long time and I’m bummed someone has to lose but WAR T-CITY. Curious to see how Felder looks at WW and honestly I think Perry is good matchup for him. Definitely down for a chat, if a newbie is allowed.

Lewis could lose 10 straight and he’d probably still be one of my favorite fighters. True. Bellator is doing a welterweight tournament. I’m assuming MVP will be involved and will end up fighting a non-can for the first time. I have a feeling that’s not going to go well for him.

But I’m kinda interested in the WW tournament, that division is actually pretty stacked. MVP gets fucked up by most of the top guys Bellator has at WW.

Yeah, it’s very possible. Bellator may decide to keep him out of it so as not to risk damaging his mystique. I’m sure he has a lot of value in attracting new fans who don’t really know enough to judge the level of competition he’s facing.
The thing is MVP has talent, but it’s impossible to judge where he’s really at. With that said, I suspect the wrong matchup will end up as a repeat of the Yair/Frankie fight.

Tito is probably gonna win that fight too. Chuck must be broke as hell. That’s the worst part of it all. I don’t see anyway Chuck doesn’t get his lights put out. Then that MAGA nerd is going to act like he won a world title for knocking out a man who gets KO’d from a stiff breeze.
