I don’t even really care if he shit talks the fans that like a given but to call the Canucks as an organization trash is something you can’t be doing as a national broadcaster especially when not one of them said close to the same thing about blackhawks etc but sportsnet just put out their lineups for the finals and he was taken off the panel lol |

The area they were looking to build at has shit infrastructure for an entertainment facility. The brand new Metro station is tiny and would be the only option since parking/roads in that area are small for such a site. The current arena isn't that bad and it is perfect to get fans dispersed after an event relatively quickly with the major junction metro stop right beneath the arena. |

I don't think they ever really intended on moving the team to Virginia. That was just a bluff cause they wanted taxpayer money to do some renovations to Capital One Arena.
