Not trying to cause shit but I don't get why people charge $35 USD for a bootleg punk shirt. Are the shirts union made/sweat free? Is booting a fulltime gig? Someone please enlighten me.

I think a big thing is that no one prints their own shirts anymore, so they all have to pay the guy that does the printing. And idk how much a blank comfy colors costs, but it must be pretty insane. I don’t buy from shops that don’t offer a Gildan/ cheaper option anymore

for me, 1 color on comfy colors is about $9 and 1 color on shakawear is $11. I’ve been sticking to $25 unless it’s more than 4 colors then i’ll bump it up to $27-28. my profit margin is roughly 1.3-1.5x the cost to print which i think is pretty fair. i try to give ppl enough breaks on shipping too

I am considering doing a gildan option for $15 since i can get 1 color gildan for $6

Shipping has become a killer too, and I know it's not necessarily the shop's fault. But when you want to charge $35 for a boot and then the person has to pay $8-$10 shipping on top of that it becomes overkill
