This is definitely true. I ship a ton of shirts and a bunch of other stuff every month and have never paid that much for a single shirt domestically using first class. I mean granted, I’m not walking into a post office and paying counter prices. I buy bulk mailers, print shipping labels through PayPal (which is cheaper than walking into a post office and paying those prices) and have the USPS pick up my shipments. If you don’t have a label maker, use regular paper and cut it out and tape it to your package. but what do I know? I guess maximizing my profits and not over charging doesn’t count. I mean, just take the price as being $40-42, what does it matter how it's split up? To me, that's (too) expensive for a single T-shirt, but there's no point in scrutinizing the shipping costs. Maybe they're charging the same for two shirts or something and they want to cover their losses, or they're adding a dollar or two for having to pack the stuff, I don't know. I would imagine that’s what’s happening, probably charging the same amount for multiple shirts or whatever and that’s fine, I understand that. Just saying my piece about it. I guess it’s a big deal to have an apinion around here.

you are barkin up the wrong tree for sure Why? Because my point was that there are different ways to do it and it was a better idea than yours? Don’t take it personal, people do things differently.

Did you see the part where I gave my apinion and someone instantly took it the insult route because my apinion and way of doing something was different than theirs? That doesn’t mean I’m upset, I’m just defending the point I made.

yo if youre paying more than $4.50 postage on a single shirt in the continental U.S. someone is getting one over on you.
EDIT: unless its an expedited method

Its insane to me theres this much of a furor over an extra 3 dollars added. Shirts were always 27 so it’s not like they wen't from 18 to 30. I upped prices to shipping to pay for the time of the person who helps me fulfill orders cause the volume of orders has gone up significantly in the last few months also because I’m paying for mailers now.
I charge more for 2XL because the manufacturer charges more for 2XL. It isn’t supernatural.

bro it was a dicussion until you initiated the backhandedness right here: this is def not true. i feel like any time i ship a single shirt its at least like $7 but what do I know? I guess maximizing my profits and not over charging doesn’t count. dont come at me sideways because i dont hustle bootlegs for a living

If you don't like the price, start your own bootleg shirt website and just boot the same shirts and sell em for $10 less.

i've had some pretty wild fluctuations of price depending on where it's going, but it def doesn't cost more than $5.50-$6, but i also just sell shit on depop and don't factor in buying my own envelopes and tape. within the past year, i've noticed shipping prices for sending a single shirt have gone up by about a dollar, had someone at the post office confirm this.

If a boot was made they would charge like $50 because they would have to hit up an actual screen printer who can color separate and print process designs like that shirt instead of a buddy with a press in their garage churning out 2 color designs.

Yo I did a 5 color Dr Dre shirt a few months back(did all of the separation myself) and charged $30 plus shipping. It can be done, just saying

How does color separation even work? There's a few complex ideas I have but no clue how the fuck it works Every color has its own layer on photoshop and its own screen when its time to print. You have to go in and pick out all of one color and isolate it to it’s own dedicated layer.
