One good thing about the streaming services up here is they always have 2 or 3 NBA games on everyday, plus all the TNT/ESPN games. I pay about $40 a month for both of them though.

The midwest sucks for streaming NBA and MLB games. Theyre almost all exclusively on a premier cable channel like Fox Sports or Bally. I can get decent amount of NBA games on ESPN + but Pacers and Cavs are blacked out due to proximity usually

I used to have a dodgy box when I was in Europe, but if you want something that's reliable and in high quality you'll still be paying a monthly fee. Just more convenient to get a sub and I can watch it from pretty much anywhere with ease.
