That’s the thing with him that really gets me. He’s going to learn tendencies and flow of play as he gets more experience. And that’s going to happen, so long as he stays healthy, well before he slows down physically. |

He was talked about as someone who could someday be in the GOAT conversation before he was even drafted and he's somehow living up to that hype as a 20 year old.

Sky is really the limit for him. You haven't been able to say that about too many players since Giannis, or maybe Porzingis when he didn't have his injury reputation yet.
It's not lost on me that we're discussing a 20-year-old rookie GETTING BETTER when he's already arguably top 12 in the league rn.

It really is nuts to wonder where this Kings team would be if they'd drafted Luka. I don't think they probably land Sabonis if that's the case, but it's just to imagine this Kings team with Luka instead of Fox.
As much as I like Fox, Luka would have made this Kings team a completely different animal. Add one more shooter and they'd be top of the west with Luka rn.

Luka and fox would run like luka and kyrie. While the defense would suck, it'd be net positive in points.
Sabonis trade reasonably still goes through, too. Kings would be absolute monsters rn
