I'm so mad I dropped Alexander Mattison literally two hours before the Dalvin Cook news came out that I might just fucking quit. After I talked shit too!

Having your top-2 RBs go out unexpectedly the week of the semis, only to put up 142 points and STILL lose because of the backup of one of those RBs scores 35 for your opponent is just a very specific kind of kick in the balls that only fantasy football could provide.

Lol. My shitty ass team won in TOB9L. My entire roster only had 3 players I actually drafted (technically 4 because I drafted Trey Lance late, but dropped him almost immediately and then picked him back up earlier this week when it looked like Lamar wouldn't play).
Big props to late season pickups Amon-ra St. Brown and Rashaad Penny.
Some notes about the championship winning team: 2nd lowest point total in the regular season, ahead of only Alex who finished in last place. Lost 4 straight going into the playoffs. Scored a total of 32 points in the last week of the regular season. Had a regular season record of 7-7. Did I mention only 3 players from the original draft?

What hilarious is that he dropped AJ Brown last season too haha. I benefited both years. Literally wouldn't have won the championship this season without the one crazy playoff game from him.

I'm thinking about reaching for Breece Hall.
My reasoning: They picked up a couple solid defensive guys in FA and got two 1st round studs in Gardner/Johnson. With Saleh, I think their defense will be a lot better this year.
On offense they invested in the OL, and if the D is keeping the score close, and you have an OC whose pedigree is in the Kyle Shanahan system of funneling production to the RB position, it seems a good RB on the Jets could be a major producer of fantasy points this year.
Hall was a stud in college and has elite athleticism. He's bigger and faster than Carter. And considering they trade up to get him with Carter already on the team makes me think Carter is unlikely to be a threat for top usage.
Am I being an idiot or is Breece Hall someone people should absolutely be targeting ahead of current ADP?

I have no problem with him in the 4th especially if he gets some pass down work.

I had a nightmare last night that I accidentally drafted Mac Jones in the first round of the Losman.

I probably told this story in here before but I was in a league once with this guy in his 60's who would draft his starters in order of how they'd appear in the lineup, so he'd take a QB in the 1st round and then a kicker in the 8th round. He'd have all his starters, including D and kicker, before any bench players.
He was advised against it but it was also a paid league with over 1k going to the winner so nobody was trying to hold his hand.
He ended up winning the league.

I'm sure some nerd has run the stats somewhere, but it feels like a high probability that the top 10 ADP dudes will mix in like 6-8 major injuries or committee approaches that completely fuck their usefulness per draft spot. Meanwhile, Mahomes/Allen/(Lamar?) are straight up week winners time and again. Real football changes, so does fantasy.
The real question this year is: who is the league degen who takes the mid-to-late round flier on Deshaun?

We'll most likely know how long he's out for well before the majority of league's draft.

Considering the heckling obilffl gives for drafting single incident abusers, I wonder who will have the nerve to draft him and why will it be jim in the 12th 🤔

I have already accepted the abuse I will receive in the boiz league when I overdraft Trevor Lawrence, but I'll be the one laughing when he hangs 30+ on the Jets and Texans in my playoff push

Speaking of abusers, how do we feel about the team name Johnny Depth this year? Keep trying?
