Does the video mention the INSANELY popular bar/punk venue (Alexs Bar) that is across the street and half a block down? Not even once, and that spot is generated to an older crowd with the shows they throw there. yeah,half the time when I try to go to alex's they're sold out when the sun is still out, and they're like 40 yards away lol,and they get pretty big bands |

How hard can it be to set up a bar with a stage and have bands play? How do you fuck that up? Then the rest of the problems like it being dirty or that broken draw that they showed life five times, thats some basic diy shit and you have to be a complete half wit to not be able to fix that. Well you do have to invest in proper sound equipment and remedy the fact that your bar is a giant echo chamber. |

My friend was contacted by a producer from Bar Rescue from Southern California who said they wanted to put his bar on the the show. My friend told them to fuck off with their money, fuck reality TV, stay out of his community and that he didn't need their fucking help. Fuck that show!

These guys did a makeover for a club here and renamed it Panic Room: Caution High Volume Bar. People immediately started calling it Penis Room, they rebranded a metal bar called The Raven, and then shut down within a few months. It was a wild ride. I've been crying laughing thinking of a bar called Penis Room for 5 minutes |

Yeah that show happened. John from Nasa booked it there, and I don't know why. Not sure if he did any other shows there. I think it was hard to book the other venues at that time. I didn't encounter that joke of an owner. The people who came for the bands were cool and probably had never heard of the bar beforehand. The people that were just at the bar already and the regulars were old assholes. Some younger guy sat down, and a minute later some old fucker comes up and says "you're sittin in my seat". Also, some of our under-21 fans drove out from Temecula and had to haggle with the security to let them in to watch us play. Surprisingly, they actually let them in. That being said, I could tell that the bar was lame and not a great fit for the bands that we had playing. |

I used to occasionally hit up the dispensary and liquor store next door to that because it was on my way home from work. The show is a joke - I have a friend w some insider knowledge. The props and redesign are all done by stagehands. They’re building nothing more than theater props. |

The first couple of seasons of Bar Rescue are top tier television.
However, the series has gone downhill since they started to play up the bar owners’ sob stories and John Tafford pretending to be a therapist.
