Yeah, by no means do I think Ellen deserved to be "cancelled" (or however you'd characterize what happened to her), but it's no secret she ran her show like a tyrant, wen't out of her way to wreck opportunities for staffers... it wen't a lot further than, "oh, she was just a tough boss... in a bad mood a lot", etc.

One of the accusations for Ellen was that she kept a bowl of gum outside of her office and you had to chew a piece before you wen't in to talk to her so that she never encountered bad breath. I not only respect the move, I think it was very reasonable of her to supply the gum.

This sparked an insane shouting match with the token 90's "Bi Girl" in the class. My final essay for the class was titled "Those who can do, those who can't teach" which was about him. I got an A with the comment "I don't agree with the subject matter, but this is well written."  |

So she had them come in her office so she could smell their armpits and if they smelled they got sent home to take a bath |
