I've been talking about this with friends since all of this stuff kicked off. These folks spend their lives being the dumbest people in whatever room they're in, and now they're so desperate to seem knowledgeable in a subject that "traditionally" educated people want nothing to do with. Meanwhile, "traditionally" educated people want nothing to do with it because it's just paranoid, misinformed bullshit supported by junk science and clowns like Joe Rogan. Like, nobody's going to ask Joe Rogan to prescribe heart meds, or set a cast for a broken arm... so why the fuck should he carry weight with people when it comes to vaccination? The worst thing is that people like JJ are convinced that people like me are going to go "you know what? YOU ARE RIGHT!".. Unfortunately, what is happening is the opposite and he HAS ruined his rep. I dont know if his version of cro mags will ever be able to play here again because European hardcore has VERY FEW covid deniers and anti vaxxers He'll still play in Europe, it's just that his European tours now will only consist of Serbia, Hungary, and Estonia. |
