I watched the video in that last tweet about people dying during workouts (because of the vaccine of course) and one was a woman that died of a heart attack during an Ironman during the swim. Unfortunately that's not a super uncommon thing during the swim during Ironman events as noted here-

Basically if you don't get into the water pre swim and get used to the cold water, etc your body can go into shock and cause a heart attack/cardiac arrest. Even the pool where I swim the coach has dealt with people having heart attacks while swimming laps.


As for other athletes collapsing during games again it's been happening way before Covid
