I need new luggage, retiring my Da Kine travel roller after 10 years of unreliable service. What’s everyone rocking for a carry on/personal item?
I swear it’s getting more and difficult to abide by the airlines constantly changing their rules and prices on bags. What gives?

Monos and CalPak are my current picks but I don’t know shit about shit.

For my carry on I have a BEIS medium carry-on roller. Personal item / backpack I have an AER Travel Pack 2 that I love. I also recently got a North Face base camp voyager sling. I wish it was just slightly bigger but it does the job.

I did a 10 day trip with just the AER backpack in Feb.
Did a 3 week Euro trip with my BEIS and the North Face Sling in March.
Just did another 3 week euro trip with the BEIS and AER together.

I have a beautiful Fred Perry leather bag Ive had for like ten years, was cheaper than Filson and I think looks better.

As for t shirt folding I do a classic retail fold then fold that in half and put everything in compression packing cubes.

I use a Baboon to the Moon Go-Bag as my luggage for travel because the size I got (they have 3 sizes) it can hold like 3-5 days of clothes, has a bunch of pockets, is TSA approved as a carry on and can be worn like a backpack (my preference), held like a briefcase, or carried over the shoulder. I got it on sale because I'd never heard of them and to me they were pricy, but now I think the price is totally worth it and I got another kind of bag from them. I probably won't use anything else going forward because I am sold on their products.

I have about 20 pieces of BEIS and I think I am single handedly keeping this company afloat with the amount of people I have put onto them (I'm not). I talk abt them every chance I get lmao. Plus everything is vegan.

Can we post some more photos in this thread? I have been rocking my Chrome USA Metropolis bag since 2008 and I think it's about time I finally upgrade to some grown up shit. My wife has an Away suitcase, but I am too contrarian to get myself the most popular option - there's gotta be something better out there.

Have you guys seen the subreddit r/OneBag? I really wanna get into that shit but also I think minimalists have OCD or something because the minimalist aesthetic is kinda depressing to me.
