Top 10 band. I celebrate every release but Death Knows Your Name has a certain edge and dirtiness to it that elevates it to the very top for me.
Have there been any rumblings of any sort of show or new release? GIVE US MORE.

Also if anyone has that HOPE longsleeve Deathwish put out in an XL, hit me up. My big ass can't fit into mediums anymore..

Love this band, I still listen to death knows your name regularly. One of the only hardcore bands I listen to anymore.

Got "Cold Blue" and Trial "Are These Our Lives?" toward the beginning of my junior year of high school after being a huge Bane fan for awhile. Total game changers for me.

One of the best hardcore/punk bands ever and I'll fight anyone who disagrees.

Only time I ever saw them they played two songs and then blew the power to the building. Like fried the fuse box, so the show couldn't go on.
But one of my all time favorite bands. DKYN is great, but something about Endnote that just gives me chills every time I listen to it.

If you don’t like DKYN you don’t like heavy music.

Hope Con rules. They were one of the first active hardcore bands I really got into around 02-03 and seeing them play a bunch around that time exposed me to a bunch of other bands/venues.
Cold Blue is my favorite of their releases, but all their stuff is awesome. Would love to see them play again.

Endnote and DKYN were heavy rotation for me all during highschool.

They said it just wasn't angry or heavy enough so it got scrapped.

I wish they'd come back and put APMD on the backburner for a bit.

I thought End Note was kind of a turd, frankly. It's still good but it's definitely their weakest output.

I listen to File.03, End Note and Cold Blue the most (in that order.)
File.03 makes me feel the need to destroy.

Use life as a dagger might just be my favorite line of all time. Tangentially related, “hope you dig the the flowers I won’t send” from Bars is so good.

Bars fucking ruled. I remember Kevin saying they had an EP recorded and ready for release, but they never got around to releasing it.

Death Knows Your Name is the one that delivers the most for me but I love their whole catalog. So f'n heavy, blows my mind. Probably my favorite Boston band. Seeing Ceremony and them at the Cake Shop in NYC was such a cool experience.

Listened to the File 03 ep today. I would say it's their best work, but Cold Blue and Endnote are also perfect albums as well.
That Naked Raygun cover is seriously one of the best covers I've ever heard.

Also, I always thought Death Knows Your Name sounded more like a Bars record than a Hope Con record.

if I remember correctly i ordered Cold Blue from the deathwish cd distro and they instead sent Endnote. Ever since that I still like Endnote more than Cold Blue
