Question for people who've flown into Dublin from elsewhere in the UK...
I'm flying from London into Dublin next month. I'm familiar with the "Common Travel Area" in the UK but everything online reads like that's strictly for UK residents heading into Ireland. I'm an American traveling from London with an American passport... should I expect any substantial delay upon arrival, or is it literally just stepping off the plane and leaving the airport? Any extra customs/passport shit? I've never traveled within the UK, always just stayed in one spot. I'm still figuring out how travel between the different constituent countries works.
Any info would be much appreciated!

Ive gone from Dublin to Heathrow during peak covid (with american passport) and it was no problem. They each have a very basic set of questions like did you go to another country in between and what is your purpose. Their main job is keeping dangerous people out and people who want to immigrate shadily so if your luggage doesnt look like you wanna stay forever youre fine. And the other countries have no custom situation either I live right by Wales and go back and forth, Northern/Rep Ireland have a wall but thats it and you shouldnt go to that area unless you filming a vice documentary I have made that mistake for you
If you didnt buy the ticket you can train from london to one of the west coast ferries and cross over in style

Glad im back in NY where 4/20 is celebrated. Europeans need to respect both the time and day where dense nuggs of fat buds is consumed I dont care if 20/4 doesnt sound as cool

Weird semi-serious question, but who’s had luck buying dense nuggs of fat buds in London? I’m not a big smoker but recently upped my use from “a few times per year” to “I bought an ounce two weeks ago and have been smoking every day this month”.
Do I have any chance @ buying dense nuggs of fat buds over there that a) isn’t from a plain clothes cop b) sketchy shake/hash garbage c) isn’t just a ripoff and my money gets stolen?

It's everywhere. Decent quality. £30-£40 for 3.5.

If anybody in London wants to go see Momma @ the Windmill in Brixton tonight, let me know. I've got a ticket and can't go bc of COVID.

Nah, I've been in London since the 6th. Started feeling kinda shitty after a show on my first full day here (Saturday) but didn't test until yesterday. I probably picked it up at the airport prior to flying out of the US.
Was supposed to fly to Ireland on the 12th... that's shot. At this rate I'll be lucky to salvage 2-3 days of this trip. Lesson learned, I guess.

I am stressing the fuck out as there is a massive train strike that has fucked my trains up to the fest. I need to get there before incendiary play but my stupid train has been cancelled and i am unable to change it.

Thankfully my train seems fine from Glasgow for Outbreak but I think theres only something like 3 trains running down on that day.
If anyone has any suggestions for good places to eat in Manchester before and after as I'm not a huge fan of vegan scran let me know.

I just managed to change mine up for the pricely cost of £18 (but i cant stand for 2.5 hours on a train then spend 3 days at a fest stood up watching bands). I dont think there will be many tickets for these trains.

No euro. But here with my girlfriend for outbreak. We ate Bundobust when we got off the train at Piccadilly last night and it ripped. Staying in some Truman show ass place called Mediacity which isn’t the vibe, but Manchester seems real rad outside of that place.
Anyone make it inside yet? What’s the vibe? Fests don’t happen at convention centers in the US so no idea what to expect. Pics on the outbreak Instagram make it look like some punk trade show.
