What happened to cargo pants vans/timberlands band shirts and a ball cap? My old feet can’t handle vans or timberlands anymore. Cargo pants are def making a comeback with the youth, they love the ultra baggy oversized look.

I’m still annoyed by that Fear of God brand for buying all the old band shirts to flip for $600+ dollars.

Currently tryna seam rip an old company logo off of a sweater, I thought it would just slice slice and then easily all fall off but this is a but more time consuming than I'd assumed

Good to know they spent more on high quality embroidery than fostering a positive work environment

TIL that Japanese audio equipment manufacturer Roland has a clothing line called Roland Lifestyle. If they weren't charging $808 on this 808 puffer, I would have seriously considered it: the purchase of which would then necessitate the matching sweatpants:

My problem with this is it looks too indistinguishable in style from those cheap Polaroid/Kodak Film windbreakers they were selling at Forever 21/Marshall’s/TJ Maxx a few years ago, so even if it is really high quality, people will still think you paid $40 for it.

What’s with the Arc’teryx worship these days? Recently saw some kid at a show who had an Arc’teryx hat and jacket, then at one point took the jacket off to reveal an Arc’teryx hoodie. Is their stuff that well-made or are people just paying for the brand? The jackets look dope, but you can get the same thing from Outdoor Research or North Face

Like TNF is the standard but if you’re rocking that Arc you’re on the next level you know? And it’s slightly better made imo but still overpriced. OR and Patagonia are still probably the best for like real deal shit from my layman’s understanding.

Was issued a bunch of arcteryx shit when I was in the military and I’ve kept buying it because of how much I liked it. The rain jacket I have is definitely the most water repellent jacket I’ve ever had, and my parka is the warmest jacket I’ve ever had. Plus it’s a cool logo.

Normal ass yuppie dudes walking around in $600 archy windbreakers is so goofy. No sense of personal style or identity - just gotta coo what the mood boards tell you is hot

jp fashion dudes + media are slowly moving on from arcteryx now as it's too saturated, so their western counterparts will probably jump to the next 'hot' gorp/tech label in 2023. time to trade in for some goopimade!

And North Face is way too expensive for what it is It hurts to pay those prices but it's worth it in the long run. My 15-year-old windbreaker still looks brand new.

My North Face parka is the best coat I’ve ever owned. It’s so warm that I can’t even wear it until the temps are in the teens

Is their stuff that well-made or are people just paying for the brand? The jackets look dope, but you can get the same thing from Outdoor Research or North Face Their products used to be made in Canada, justifying the exorbitant prices, but they did one of those cool switch-a-roos where they moved most production to low-wage, low-regulation countries but kept the prices the same.
