What’s the next hype outdoor brand? I always the Rab was pretty cool and I’ve been getting targeted insta ads for Klättermusen and 66north. I don’t know about hype but Outdoor Research makes really good quality stuff.

Never buy the non crepe sole version of Clark originals. They are by far the most uncomfortable show I’ve ever worn.

Pulled out my old Made in England 1460s that I accidentally let get moldy years ago and then threw in the laundry room to sit for eternity. They look extremely rough now, but I’m going to attempt revive them in the coming weeks. Wish me luck.

I miss my navy cordovan monkey boots. these are really nice. Did they wear in at all color wise? I couldn't use them nearly as much as I would've wanted to. The last didn't fit my feet that well and I had to sell them. Here's a couple pics of how they looked when I sold them. I used them in pretty much every possible weather and just brushed them afterwards. They would release some color every time I conditioned them with Saphir Renovateur. IIRC my other Tricker's cordovan boots didn't release as much color.

Never buy the non crepe sole version of Clark originals. They are by far the most uncomfortable show I’ve ever worn. The goretex versions with a vibram sole are far superior to the crepe bullshit though. I was all about the regular weavers but after getting a pair of GTX Wallabees, there's no going back.

I don't find wallabees that comfortable in general, but definitely prefer vibram to the instantly gross crepe sole. also nice to be able to wear the goretex ones out in shit weather and not worry about the suede.

Yeah, they're real hot right now. Don't own them myself but I've been oggling a pair of michaels in a nearby paraboot store and man, the build quality looks unreal.

can I make my beard feel like not pubes or is moisturizing your beard just snake oil for tactical men?? I've been rubbing a bit of olive oil into it and it hasn't changed in texture
