Shout out Sugar Cane. My Okinawas are one of two pairs of Japanese denim that still fit me well. I wear em regularly, the other pair needs some TLC. Actually took some pictures for old times sake last month after a wash. These are 10-11 years old and I've washed and dried the hell out of em. One of my favorite things I own honestly. Speaking of favorite things, my equally as old and loved Tanner Goods cardholder that I had cut and modified was stolen from my car earlier this year.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on some Stone Island shit. Seems utterly ridiculous to pay that much for a tag on the shoulder but fuck man I need some gear to wear while I ride around listening to Stone Roses.

For some reason I got manic and bought a bunch of BDUs. They’re horribly baggy so now I have to find a tailor to taper them. In other disappointing fashion news, I got some Saxx boxer briefs and they’re pretty mid. I was hoping to have boxer/compression short combo but I just new expensive underwear. Isn’t baggy/boxy popular now? Maybe just cuff them and where with air maxes or boots? Also, safety razors are the shit. You spend more up front, but save in the long run. It’s super simple to shave (just follow the previous advice of going with the grain, at least on your first pass). And merkur blades, ftw.

Lots of Arc’Teryx and y2k era Evisu rn. Still fucking with Japanese stuff and a lot of y2k euro shit. My favorite jeans are these baggy YSL jawns or these Burberry cargo pants with the Burberry plaid pattern around the pockets and in the lining, I got em in black and in tan. New Balance killin the game rn and I’m still fucking with the 550s by ALD.
Currently negotiating on a Burberry trench coat, a Helmut Lang rain coat, and some Alexander McQueen shoes.

Everyone post their ‘I’m getting pussy tonight’ sweaters Serious answer: Comme des Garçon woolen cardigan by Junya Watanabe, F/W 2002, for formal, Im on my best behavior type date, or this plaid Evisu hoodie that fits very relaxed, looks really cool and it’s for my more casual dates.

Where are you sourcing you SugarCane? An online retailer or a proxy? Sugarcane is amazing. I highly recommend the 1947's for a vintage silhouette and comfortable rise. Self Edge's custom 1947's are well worth the price. They feel like you're wearing butter after 6 months in. If you're near NY (or one of their other locations) absolutely go try some on. Otherwise, denimio.com and historypreservation.com have them for reasonable prices. I'd also recommend TCB 50's and Warehouse 1001XX's for a similar certified look.

I’ve had sugar cane x self edge and some mister freedoms. Definitely the best quality Japanese and just overall jeans I’ve had. I’d definitely size up though. Idk what we’re talking about. I just pre Covid was really into Japanese denim and now I’m really into being comfortable and wearing joggers

I’ve always slacked on nice tops. I usually just wear a band shirt or plain black shirt. Recently I got a striped polo long sleeve and I kind of dig it, luckily they’re like $20-30 on Depop I just don’t know if it looks good or juvenile.

Killer Kapital jacket up there! I don't love all of their stuff but damn that one is awesome.
And for me, Warehouse is the tops when it comes to the actual denim and how they wear. Got some 1001 and a 60s/Lee model in the the closet but neither really work for me anymore.
As far as what I'm really wearing day to day, it's just cheap, baggy stuff nowadays. I've hardly spent money on good clothes since my first kid and she's almost 9, and I'm on the baggy tip since I started skating again and that's what is comfortable. I hate supporting fast fashion but I just catch clearance deals and try to wear the hell out of stuff.

Warehouse is okay. I blew them out in like 6 months even sizing up. I should also clarify I wore expensive raw denim almost exclusively for the first 2.5 years of my carpentry apprenticeship. Because it should be work *wear. But I’ll still hold to regular ass STF 501s and wrangler cowboy cut last the longest and give the best fades.

Also if you can find Norman porters (rip) they were also hard wearing and good looking.

There's so many variables but my two pair are tanks for what it's worth. I always wash early and often so the denim softens and I prefer more subtle fades.

I love pants and I have no idea why. I've been on the hunt for a nice pair of chocolate bottoms (lol) and Left Field NYC just dropped a nice corduroy pair but my closet is starting to get stacked floor to ceiling.

Any big men in here? I'm talking like 36 inch waist or higher, XL on your button downs kinda dudes? It kinda sucks being bigger because a.) When you buy stuff online there's a good chance the fit will be weird, and b.) Available looks for big dudes are like youth pastor or like Action Bronson if you wear street wear. Makes it hard to drop a bunch of money on anything so I've got too much fast fashion and band shirts.

I've started transitioning to XL shirts and I am either getting a blanket or a perfect fitting shirt.
