I'm 6'6 so I just assume I need an XL (Depending on the euro/Japanese brand even sometimes XXL if offered) even though I'm skinny otherwise stuff rides too high or the sleeves feel short.

Any big men in here? I'm talking like 36 inch waist or higher, XL on your button downs kinda dudes? It kinda sucks being bigger because a.) When you buy stuff online there's a good chance the fit will be weird, and b.) Available looks for big dudes are like youth pastor or like Action Bronson if you wear street wear. Makes it hard to drop a bunch of money on anything so I've got too much fast fashion and band shirts. Here. My problem is mostly finding good denim because, from what I have found, most are set up for a 33-36 inseam. On someone thats 6'2, sure but I'm 5'11 so I usually have to get them altered.

is it dummy proof to use them? I’ve always been afraid of slicing myself despite the name. It takes a few shaves to get the hang of them, but I've never seriously cut myself and I'm a huge dummy. Only things you need to start off with: 1) go with the grain. 2) use very light pressure. Just let the weight of the razor do its job. You kind of have to relearn how to shave if you've been using Gillette Mach 3s your whole life. movinginreverse these guys are fucking awesome if you want blade sampler packs: www.stirlingsoap.com/Just picked up a pack of Gillette Blues and a set of Sharks to try out. I need to give the site a deep dive because I need a few things for post shave and some skin care. Thanks for the link!

Broad shoulders though so I have a 34/36 waist and gotta be XL or large tall. J Crew tall sizes fit me well, and Eddie Bauer tall has actually been the go to for shirts/flannels for years and years.

Since the Kapital would make you look anywhere between a nazgul and a hobo, odds are it ain't what you're aiming for. Although going full hobo would probably make you look older than 25.

Everyone post their ‘I’m getting pussy tonight’ sweaters I bought this one off of some resale site called The Real Real for like 20 bucks? It still had the tags on it and everything. Probably one of the best clothing purchases I've made in a minute. Wore it with no shirt underneath, my 24k figaro chain and chest piece poking thru but not sticking out, and my camo Adidas bucket hat at a show I played last night, I felt v cool (I am not the guy in the pic but it's the same exact colorway, just with a fatter and browner guy underneath lol)

Thinking about pulling the trigger on some Stone Island shit. Seems utterly ridiculous to pay that much for a tag on the shoulder but fuck man I need some gear to wear while I ride around listening to Stone Roses. yo lemme hold about 10 grand so I can open a venue in my city lol

Anyone fuck with fanny packs?
I have an old outdoor research pack that’s awesome but it’s starting to gray and it’s not waterproof.
Everything out these days is super tacticool or just looks cheap.

Good denim is meant to be hemmed so you're always going to find pants with 35"+ inseams.

I have a Uniqlo fanny that I use strictly for the gym or travelling. I would also recommend Unbranded Brand denim for anyone looking for something they can wear to work and have it survive.

Thread inspired me to pull out my old Salomon jacket from like 2005, good to see that it’s apparently back in style.

I’m not a huge fan of the look of Iron Heart flannels. Their style of plaid does nothing for me.

I’ve transitioned to rocking almost nothing but baggy cargo pants and dressing like a Jet Set Radio character. 🤷🏻♂️

Current favorite pants: DKNY baggy cargos from 2001, got them deadstock with tags still on them from ebay, baggy black Burberry cargos with these dangling clips that give it a cool subversive look, I like them so much I got them in tan and I will probably buy the grey ones soon. Lastly my baggy YSL jeans that are some of the most comfortable pants I’ve ever worn. Honorable mentions to all my cargo relaxed fit carhartt pants, Kuhl double knee wide leg pants, Salomon relaxed fit cargo and utility pants, and various pairs of Evisu jeans from 2001-2008 that I’ve been collecting for a few years now.

Idk if y’all are into Americana brands but the Filson flannels I own have such a nice shape to them, same with their canvas jackets. I’d highly recommend those if you’re not trying to pay the iron heart prices on flannel.

I was already scoping Hinoya, but the bob dong (snicker) link is great -- already bookmarked a dozen items from them and some brand called Bronson. Years ago, I would lurk on the superdenim board on superfuture -- some dude was always posting about bob dong and I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about.
