I teach college and I hate them too More than a few students last year were making the case that the rape scene in Bladerunner was unintentional. Coulda put that tooth in a cup of milk to save it This is really dumb that i know this, but just in case anyone needs the information: you arent meant to do this. If your tooth gets knocked out, you are meant to clean it with saliva and then literally put it back into the hole it came out of and bite down with a tissue and you may be able to save it. Just fyi I only know this because when I got hurt bad at outbreak there was a kid who had his tooth knocked out at the fest. The doctor wouldn’t see him at the hospital so I asked my dentist when I saw him next. |

I also worry for a second whether the thumbs up emoji I was sent was in earnest or mocking. Then I go on with my life.
I too teach zoomers. Most of mine aren’t exceptionally more soft than millennials. I think the squeaky wheels just get the grease. I think wealthier schools probably get way more of these types.
While they aren’t soft it is depressing how unprepared studentd are for college coursework. I had a colleague tell me his kid was listening to an audiobook version of Ready Player 1 in a senior English class.

I missed my bus to downtown so I had to take the scenic bus through Oakland/Pitt and the number of kids who got on and rode 3-5 blocks was astounding. Also the bus isn’t a novelty don’t take selfies like you’re playing poor, it’s a necessary public service.
More proof zoomers are soft.
On principal I got off three blocks before my stop just to prove to myself I’m not a bitch.
It didn’t work.

Fuck people who stand on the edge of the pit and expect to be safe, go stand in the back. If you’re on the edge you have a responsibility to contain the chaos and protect the people behind you, that’s not a spectator position.
I’m a big fan of helping people out and picking them up but the best shows are the ones where personal preservation is the only thing on your mind, total lizard brain shit. If I missed a show where someone lost a tooth I’d be so bummed out, that sounds wild.

The primary ring serves to facilitate action and direction, while removing debris(bodies) and containing violence. You should acktshually expect more violence on the edges than elsewhere in a proper pit. |
