Two separate convos going on but I legit thought Torture started a year or so ago as a "protest band" for Palestinians hence why I thought it was weird they're playing every festival and the fact chalie saw them catching up but torture is a one man grind/slam project by a severely autistic 22 year old with a touring band that now includes a former poster |

Two separate convos going on but I legit thought Torture started a year or so ago as a "protest band" for Palestinians hence why I thought it was weird they're playing every festival and the fact chalie saw them catching up but torture is a one man grind/slam project by a severely autistic 22 year old with a touring band that now includes a former poster But the music isn't particularly heavy it sounds like old man death metals |

A friend once pointed out how New Found Glory sounds like the name of an oi band and I can't help but wonder how many skinheads assumed that based on their name and got a huge surprise when they first heard them. They might have been thinking of this dumb WP band that sux. |

Oi has really fallen off as a genre if the biggest bands are taking to social medial for apologies. This wouldnβt be happening if punk/hc wasnβt in this boom time where bands feel like they need to protect their bottom line.

This is kinda off topic but I was just reminded of when at a Brockton show (was one of the Fallen Friends fests) one year there was an FSU dude walking around with a big ass tattoo of klansmen in front of a burning cross on his arm. I asked an acquaintance who was in with those dudes what that was about and he said the guy was in prison and had to get involved in the racial aspects of gang life. Which like, ok thatβs plausible but he was choosing to wear a cut off shirt.
