been going to shows for 20 years and i've never once saw a nazi
same and as soon as he took off his shit and had an ss tattoo he got his ass beat. Haven't seen one since, so when people act like they're coming out of the wood work it sounds super fabricated |

This is kinda off topic but I was just reminded of when at a Brockton show (was one of the Fallen Friends fests) one year there was an FSU dude walking around with a big ass tattoo of klansmen in front of a burning cross on his arm. I asked an acquaintance who was in with those dudes what that was about and he said the guy was in prison and had to get involved in the racial aspects of gang life. Which like, ok that’s plausible but he was choosing to wear a cut off shirt. Fallen Friends was always a melting pot of the scariest, real deal bad motherfuckers from what I can remember. Last one was 2005? Romans/Tigers Den really changed my outlook on life for a while in a negative way. Pretty sure we saw two people die there on two different occasions and endless severe beatings. Are you from MA? |

Are you from MA? I am. And yeah for me as a relatively sheltered kid, taking the commuter rail down to Brockton and entering that world was pretty eye opening. There were some insanely stacked lineups at Roman’s/Tigers Den in the mid 00s though. |

The thing people miss with Torture is that when they started/before they played shows they absolutely were trying to be a bit humorous... I feel like only when they realized it was getting hyped did they decide to try and take themselves seriously. It doesn't really work as a serious project (obviously, listen to it and look at it)

Is it really an achievement that a dude who was paid to murder people and presumably was in prison for something violence related happened to fight some white power dudes? I think he has a sucessful wife and a 10 y/o kid, I don't think he's done much hard time. However I am making an assumption. |
