Weβre definitely not allowed to do that, weβre owned by a corporate holding company and though we have the appearance of being a metal/punk/adjacent subculture spot weβre all paid pretty well and have to behave somewhat while weβre on the clock.
More unhinged behavior: this Andrew Tate wannabe comes in after somehow not getting kicked out of the bar, and points to my coworker who he has never met in his life and wen't βWatch out for that guy, heβs trouble!β and then just dies laughing.

I just thought about my old roommate from a few years ago inviting a couple friends over to eat leftovers from his "friendsgiving" celebration a week earlier. The problem? Literally all of the food had sat in containers on the kitchen table the entire time. Almost nothing from the event had been refrigerated. After the initial get-together had concluded, he packed up everything into tupperware containers, including the turkey that had only been in the oven for like an hour and a half--as it was somehow the last thing he decided to cook--before it was served to guests, and disappeared until the next day. He never bothered to put any of the food away, and did the bare minimum of clean-up, as he was wont to do, leaving the bulk of the work to his "guests" (who never finished cleaning up anyway). I just remember the people he had invited over actually consuming some of the food before realizing that a good portion of it was moldy and actively rotting away on the kitchen table, and the look on their faces when I told them how old it all was, and that pretty much none of it had been preserved. It was some straight-up horror movie shit. Absolutely unhinged behavior.

It was all his people, most of whom I really did not care for, and he planned it all on his own. He mentioned--the day of--that we (my girlfriend, our other 2 roommates, and myself) could invite people if we wanted to, but I had no real desire to play host and had minimal involvement with the whole thing. I definitely helped with some of the cleaning, as I had to live there too, but I never felt responsible for it. My girlfriend and I just kinda hid out in our room for a while. At one point, I opened my bedroom door to go use the bathroom or something, and there was a fucking table up against the door frame. I literally had to crawl under the table to get out of my room. It was all-around a very annoying experience, which in turn made me feel even less responsible for any of it.

On top of that, getting him to take responsibility for any household chores was like pulling teeth, when really all we ever asked was for him to help with the dishes once in a while. He talked a big talk before we all moved in together about how he was gonna be "house mom", and that he's really neat and organized and wants to take care of everyone, meanwhile he would do shit like stick butter knives covered in peanut butter directly into the dishwasher.
