i am usually a go with the flow/respect the art(ist) nerd but man the new Skourge is hideous (production wise) I felt that way initially because everything is cranked up to 100, but it sounds huge and chaotic and I think it works for the style that is being presented. |

I’m fucking with the MS Paint record ngl. The “horse the band meets turnstile” thing is accurate but I think it’s a fun/cool listen. I’ll take the dislikes, whatever.
Thought about seeing them play a living room show in New Orleans last night but realized I’d feel very old and skipped it.

I fuckin' hate the way they premiered it with the procedurally-generated YouTube video where they just pick a color, pick a live clip to make a gif loop of and use as the BG, and upload the album artwork that every major label artist does.
People who are trying to take the "current momentum of HC" or whatever and trying to use the major label model are all fuckin hard-rockers. The reason why this shit is underground is that it's unpleasant to listen to for most people, and now these assholes are just trying to make it unpleasant to listen to for us.
I loved seeing Incendiary back in the day. split w/ sub scum still rocks. This is a huge bummer for me.
