New Incendiary track is cool but I am absolutely begging for bands to stop recording with Will Putney, I can’t stand his production yeah this is my only complaint i hate his style so much song sounds no different from anything else the band has done and you are lying to yourself if you think otherwise. it sounds like it could have easily been on the unrestrained split or amongst the filth. i do really think it’s the production that is turning people off |

(Also they’ve never been very good) i disagree! maybe it’s because i got to see them what felt like every weekend from 2011-2013 but they rock they are also my dad’s favorite band and he superglued a gash in my head at one of their shows |

Hardcore really doesn't have too high of a threshold for quality lyrics, but that Incendiary track is bottom of the fucking barrel "Now the sun is shining but i’m soaked in rain" "I rip the weeds from my garden every day" lowes garden center ass lyrics lmao cracka soundin like he bought his first crib during COVID when the interest rates were 2% and writing lyrics while his wife yells at him to do the yard work

It sounds overproduced as shit. Last full project I really enjoyed was Cost of Living, which isnt to say that sounded "raw" or anything but the songs were better. Front Toward Enemy and maybe one or two other off Thousand Mile Stare do it for me, thats it. Will always go up for their live performances though.

The production on Thousand Mile Stare was complete ass. I listened to that record once and never again. The production on this is somewhat better. Crusade will always be their best album tho

i am usually a go with the flow/respect the art(ist) nerd but man the new Skourge is hideous (production wise) I felt that way initially because everything is cranked up to 100, but it sounds huge and chaotic and I think it works for the style that is being presented. just boarded this train, its clicking for me now fr |
