Yooo, a sick review for our 7" just dropped: diyconspiracy.net/unit-x-ontario-songs-ep/"Echoing the desolate, snow-covered landscape depicted on the album cover, Ontario Songs delves into poetic and poignant themes of depression, suffering, and loss." "TL;DR: Unit X exudes the classic youth crew sound, but delivers a starkly contrasting message. If youβre tired of the genreβs tunefulness and sometimes toxic positivity, but still appreciate the music, Ontario Songs emerges as a solid release with all its ups and downs." Our copies are somewhere in the postal system hell. I'll update this once we get them and that'll be that until we decide to write more songs.

Will to Live put a new record out, I got it in the mail today. Makes me feel like I should have camo cargo shorts and new balances on and I mean that in the best way possible. This is nostalgic good but better than a majority of the bands from that era who have come back and put new shit out.

What was that Clevo style band you did with the dude from Tomb Mold? I canβt seem to find it and I swear I saved it.

Came across my copy of the tape the other day, Iβd be keen to hear more material if the band still exists.

The only thing cornier than the βItβs Ok Not to Drinkβ shirt is a ripoff of said shirt with the opposite message thatβs sponsored by a beer company.

I wrote all the songs and I'll be using the songs that were supposed to go on our next release for the demo for this new thing I'm putting together. Kevin's vocals played a big part in TS so it might end up sounding totally different. I'm glad you like the TS tape though.

The nu metal and metalcore resurgence sucks. Nu metal was embarrassing and bad when I was young and it started and I liked/like some metalcore still but why would I wanna hear kids sucking off bands that sucked in 2004 and playing a lamer version of it in 2023? The revisionist history of a lot of the bands from that era is insane, bands that were never good are looked at now like they were great. Iβm yelling at a cloud, I know.
And that being said, there are good bands that mean into the metalcore sound, but nu metal? No. Nu metal is fucking awful and any time I see some 23 year old shithead hardcore kid with a korn shirt on Iβm embarrassed for them.
