all that stuff was more popular (metalcore included) therefore kids are more exposed to it therefore more of them think it's good.

When I was in 6th grade I listened to nu metal, that was 1999. Then I heard slayer and cannibal corpse and I was like wow Korn is super fucking awful. I think the younger kids, like those in their 20s and younger probably see slipknot as an equal to slayer or sepultura or something, but in my eyes that slipknot is as bad as all the other Spencerβs gifts black light poster bands.
