there was twitter discourse last week when some "rock journalist" said something like "imagine how great the white stripes would've been with a good drummer" and people were like "dude, come on" and he deleted the tweet and other musicians of the day were like " yo meg rules, etc"
really a non issue, but Tom morrello is a boomer so he's GOT to say something.

some old boomer white dude that plays in probably the worst band in NJ(but with all great folks in the band itself) has to share his ice cold takes on everything.... when the mike brown stuff was going on, he very whitely and very cornily blurted out at some show that I booked years ago, in front of mostly black and brown kids "HEY KIDS, black lives MATTER!" and the whole room burst out into laughter at him even though he was being genuine. Anyway, he typed out a multi-paragraph defense of Meg White on his facebook feed. I know there aren't any zoomer/younger millennial punks who give a shit about the White Stripes except for the hit single "Lego Video", and I can't imagine there are very many older millennial/Gen X punks who know anything except for Seven Nation Army.
Very, very nice guy, but man sometimes you just wanna mush peoples' faces lol
