Like the same way a guy may size up another guy and if he knows he probably can win a hypothetical fight he might just kind of kinda "son" him and start acting like a dick towards him. Not every single man will do it but any room with a handful of men has at least one that does it. It really turns me on to be watched or noticed even in non-sexual contexts but especially if I'm onto someone that's doing it and can make them panic for doing so a little. It changes the narrative for me from some smug asshole getting off from thinking he's control and that I'm unaware of what he's thinking into to him being nothing more than a participant or observer in my own game. I'm not like sitting there jerking off in public to things that are inherently non-sexual per se, but to me what turns me on is really abstract and mental because it's a lot to do with picking people's brains and the tug-of-war back and forth of taking and relenting power. When that happens with the right person and they respond in a way I'm impressed by them I become really physically attracted to them too.

I get really, really turned on by people who are very clever, good story tellers and skilled at getting people to listen to them and saying the right things to get people to like them and just sort of playing harmless mind games with them. Not like in a non-consenting or abusive way of course but just like talking to them and testing the limits of their confidence, their wit, how in control they really feel when an attractive woman sizes them up and examines them. The aesthetics of BDSM are a little cheesy for me, like I tried it throughout my life both as a Dominant and a submissive and I just suck at it and I got complaints that I'm not really pulling off their fantasy in both roles lol. Men have the power to potentially physically dominate or harm women, but women have the power to make men feel not good enough, rejected, alone, to ruin their lives by damaging their social reputation. One man or woman may not be that kind of person, but they inherently have that power if they want to use it. There's a cat and mouse game to those power dynamics that is really attractive to me and I'm turned on by people who I feel could have an equal strength to their pull. I like someone who wants more than to just not feel lonely or have someone around as company and can handle the power they hold and the level of vulnerability required to acknowledge it exists. It doesn't even have to be explicitly acknowledged during sex because that's just there and inherently very hot to me.

I've tried to be the right partner for people that are more on the touchy or insecure side and as much as I've deeply cared for them I am pretty miserable trying to constantly convince someone to be into themselves and it's a big turnoff to me. It's not the kind of role I feel hot in and it's just an incompatibility for me. Almost everyone I've been with has to some level thought they're hot shit and I think you just kind of have to get to that state to take all of your vulnerabilities and fears and put them out on a table for someone else to examine and play with. I know myself well enough to know exactly what I'm most scared of and I don't mind exploring it during sex with someone who can mutually get off from it.
