Can I get some melodeath recommendations that are still evil and not just shitty guitar wankery?

Can I get some melodeath recommendations that are still evil and not just shitty guitar wankery? I generally hate melodeath, but I love Sarcasm. It's a shame that that album was not actually released when it was initially recorded.

Drove down to the Decibel Tour in Philly yesterday (could have gone to the Buffalo date but I wanted to catch Immolation). Here are my takeaways:
- Blood Incantation destroyed, were the best band on the show and I could have watched them for another hour. - Necrot was also super good. The songs translate really well live and they have a great energy. Also my buddy pointed out that the singerβs stage banter sounded like death metal Tommy Wiseau, which killed me. - I love Immolation but they were a little disappointing. Their drummer was pretty sloppy and their one guitarist (bald dude) flubbed his way through most of the solos. They all seem like cool guys though and were hanging at the merch table all night. - Morbid was great. I had heard that theyβve been pretty bad on this tour but I saw no evidence of that here. They were tight, played a good set (Blood on my Hands!) and sounded huge. - Blood Incantation had a line of people buying shirts all night long. Good for them. - I got drunk and ate tacos after.

Morbid Angel wasn't bad, in my apinion, just a pretty low energy and workman-like set. I don't think the bigger room did them any favors at this point in their career.

Immolation guitarist had me wondering if he was even playing most of the time. And Morbid Angel killed. The guitarist on the left had that fan set up and kept making weird faces haha. Overall good show.

I guess Iβm just satisfied if they play good songs and those songs sound good, which was the case. Iβm not expecting them to blow my mind or anything.

Yo so I checked out that Pissgrave record but had to turn it off after a couple songs. Idk if spotify or my car was being weird but it had like no low end and I can't get with that. Is that how it's supposed to sound?

Is that how it's supposed to sound? Yeah it's a raw recording. Basically like a bunch of goblins got their claws on recording equipment.

Is that how it's supposed to sound? The music sounds fine to me, but the vocals or whatever effect are on the vocals is ridiculous.

I fucking love the pissgrave sound. It's ugly and unapproachable. It's discomforting in the best way possible. The vocals are actually one of my favorite aspects of the band. It's like a flow of sewer water over the rotted music.

I got the new Church Of Disgust LP in the mail the other day and I gotta say it's one of my top albums of the year so far. I got the Mortal Wound LP too and that Encoffinized tape but haven't had time to give them a listen yet.
Also got a sweet Mortician long sleeve from Necroharmonic, they always throw in little extras and this time he threw in a few old show flyers and Incantation's Blasphemous Cremation CD which I'm pretty sure is just demo stuff but still pretty cool.

That church of disgust album is a few years old now, didnβt know it never had a vinyl version until now. Mortal Wound is cool, only maggot stomp release I can get into.
