I haven’t seen The Dark Knight Rises since it came out. I did not think that movie was good.

As more time passes, as much as I love Heath Ledger as Joker, I think the Keaton/Nicholson is the goat Batman movie.

i was cracking up watching the first keaton one because it takes him so long to piece together that joker killed his parents because he said such a hyper specific phrase. like, the world's supposed greatest detective whose whole fuckin lifes work is based on reliving his parents death every day was seriously like scratching his head like "What the heck where have i heard that one before"

got trashed beforehand opening night so I blamed myself til I rewatched and realized it was a mess of a movie

I do like that they did Bane justice, unlike that trash Batman and Robin where he's essentially just a roided up mute freak



Also did not know until now that the guy that played Bane died just after the movie came out. lol his wiki said he was an "avid user of steroids"

I don't think it's bad but it's the worst of that trilogy and its too long

Begins > TDK > TDKR and I don't think it's particularly brave. None of them are bad movies but the second and third of the trilogy are both too long and at the mercy of someone integral to the cast dying.

i only finally watched begins in the last year or so and really enjoyed it. need to watch again but might like it more than tdk

battinson fucking rocks. it's so funny and the 3 hours goes by quick. skipped it in theaters due to the length and superhero burnout but its great

I like how it said Clooney and the other actors were shocked of his passing whilst in the sentence before said he couldn't drippini properly, put on a shirt or walk up stairs.

i might have yall beat since i dont believe i have seen a single marvel movie in over a decade haha. most batmans get a pass bc none of them really have any like 20 minute+ cgi overload scenes in space n shit where my mind just blacks out from sensory overload during an extremely mediocre robot fight

i urge yall to rewatch this fight and then focus on any of the fights happening besides batman and bane. it is just a bunch of background people just taking turns doing punches and it is oddly very wholesome like watching a hs play

i don’t think i ever finished battinson. i think my wife and i got through like 2+ hrs of it then shut it off and wen't to sleep with the intention of finishing it later and just never did
