I watched the Batman show on Vice recently and I did not realize that
1)Sean Young was originally cast as Vicki Vale and even filmed a bunch of scenes before she got hurt and they fired her because they thought she was a pain in the ass anyway
2) Michele Pfeiffer was asked to replace her but she was busy. Who would've played Catwoman in Batman returns if that all worked out.

my fun fact about the first movie is that MJ was supposed to do the ballads (Batman songs) while Prince was doing his things (Joker songs) but the deal fell through so Prince just did the whole thing lol

something i didnt know that i learned the other day (that probably is common knowledge) was that Nicholson was on the fence about playing joker and WB basically pretended they were going to go with Robin Williams instead as a ploy to get Nicholson to agree but they didn't tell Williams they were using him as a pawn and he was legit bummed and refused to do movies WB for like a decade haha

when I was a kid I was fucking OBSESSED with that og Keaton movie but i also remember being extremely disturbed by it. the scene where the newscaster lady laughs to death legit would fuck me up a little haha
