Damn that sucks man. Employers will defeintly take advantage of employees when they’ve been there a long time. Loyalty doesn’t faint you anything, it ducks. I was in a similar situation at my last job. I don’t know where you work but I will not be buying coffee from there in solidarity. It's called Deeper Roots and the coffee for real rocks. It was a good place to work for a while and they gave me a cool opportunity to go to Brazil, but the last two years shit just wen't south and I've been taken advantage of. I understand coffee industry has a ton of components to pay for with farming/shipping/exporting/importing/brewing etc and isn't the most profitable, but the last year they've opened 2 new shops and bought another equally as big roasting company all while declining to give me $3.50 an hour raise and I decided I had enough. and it’s gonna cost them a lot more to train your replacement. employers love to trip over dollars to pick up pennies |

If you don’t take the HVAC gig, you crazy. I’ve been heavily considering going that route because it’s a great trade and you can go big time or stay small and still make bank. I think our HVAC laborers make like $40/hr, head guy probably $60/hr.
Late for plans as always butt
Friday - worked late on my side hustle but client bought us a 12 pack, they show up in a golf cart with a cooler, they rule. Came home and grilled n watched Rings of Power (I got no idea who half these MFs are)
Saturday- trying to get a loan appt at the bank because I found a new whip!!!! Headed to Portland to hit the Patagonia outlet for some returns and LL bean flagship store. Friend-toberfest with a bunch of brewer homies afterwards.
Sunday- paddleboard fishing? Motorcycle ride? Mushroom hunting?

Dude, that new Fred Again record is really good. I've liked a lot of the sets I've watched but the recorded material has always just been aight, but I listened to this new one on the highway on the way to work today, and it really scratched some sort of itch.

I decided to not set an alarm this morning and I was still up at 515. Choosing to have a chill day at work and not brew for 10-11 hours despite being #addictedtothegrind. Cannot wait to go home and stack firewood with my airpods in and a crispy boy going.

Wedding was very very fun. Spent so much time dancing that I missed dessert  and we were both pretty useless yesterday. Also got a message from my doc during the wedding that my heart looks good so I just need an echo every few years, woo. |

I've got a lot of options where I live, but this one I've found is like across the street and through a super nice neighborhood and it drops you in the middle of a 2 mile loop with some light foliage and lakes. Def gonna be making better use of it when it gets just a little bit cooler.

There's a rail trail that's about 2 miles from my door that sometimes I'm in the mood to run to and a loop that's a 15 minute drive, but I gotta be less lazy and have less shin splints to enjoy
