I inherited an employee that is a lazy piece of shit that can't do anything right and he's been pissing me off for a year. Unfortunately you can't just fire people in the government. It's like the catholic church, they just transfer them somewhere else if it gets bad enough. But another manager just came to me and asked if they could pursue him for an open position. I'm glad it was a phone call and not in person because I don't think I could hide the grin on my face.

I talk to myself all morning at the brewery but on the construction site everyone is hootin' and hollerin' at 6:30 and that energy carries on all day, I love it. Being there once a week has been incredible for my mental health and my bank o-count.

We started our closing sale at work on the weekend and customers were absolutely feral. It was unlike any Black Friday I’ve ever worked.
