New Lagwagon is out. Wonder if it’s any good. Also looks like a new Pains of Being Pure At Heart came out midweek. damn gotta peep that Pains record I've been listening to belong a lot lately |

I think he seems to do better when he's collaborating, like Black and Brown was wild and his guest spots are usually his cleverest verses

Gatecreeper - Deserted: Excellent, not sure if it stands up to the last LP but this is still awesome.
Lagwagon - Railer: For fans of Lagwagon. Did not expect to like a Lagwagon album released in 2019 this much.
School Drugs - Modern Medicine: Lyrics seemed really dumb, music was just alright.
Stages in Faith - Delside: Sounds like Farside mixed with Revolution Summer stuff.
The Pains of Being Pure At Heart - Full Moon Fever: Felt more like a karaoke album rather than a cover album.
Angel Olsen - All Mirrors: Definite step up from My Woman, still not as great as Burn Your Fire For No Witness.
Adderall - Adderall vs Big Pharma: Real good hardcore punk.
Coffins - Beyond the Circular Demise: Never checked out Coffins before, but this was good enough to make me want to check out their earlier material.

Both the Gatecreeper and High Command records are excellent.
I absolutely love the Menzingers but I do not like the new record. It's incredibly by-the-numbers and the reverb(?) on the vocals drives me nuts. I feel like I've heard all these songs already on their previous albums. Maybe I need to give it a few more listens but I'm very disappointed.
Excited to check out Chromatics and Danny Brown next

Lagwagon - Railer is actually awesome. They sound so tight. I caught them on a whim a few nights ago in Detroit and immediately bought the record afterwards.

Atrocity Exhibition is fucking awesome, but I totally understand why someone might not like it. It's quite a bit less approachable than XXX or Old.
uknowhatimsayin? is pretty good. It feels solid all the way through and definitely is easy to throw on repeat. 3Tearz is a fucking banger tho.
