On my second listen of the new Danny Brown. Definitely the most contemplative record he’s done. Not as abrasive as Atrocity Exhibition. Feels like he’s reeled back a little bit, not in a bad way. Digging it.

Feels like he’s reeled back a little bit, not in a bad way. Digging it. That's exactly how I feel about the record and part of what makes it great. I liked "Atrocity Exhibition" because of how wild it was and now this is a nice change of pace. The production is still pretty wild but it in a minimal sense. I'll definitely be giving it another spin. The homies in Gatecreeper's new record dropped. Shit sounds massive. |

summerteeth is a good album and reminds me of my 9th grade year. aside from that i really don't have a strong apinion on wilco, but i will say i've never felt like i had anything in common with any of their fans.

I've never met a fan of Wilco which is weird for how long they've been around and their popularity. Same goes for Spoon.

Actually remembered I did know one spoon fan. His wife told me he refused to take his shirt off during sex which made sense.

Kero Kero Bonito - Civilization I: definitely slower but not boring at all. More great stuff.
High Command - Behind the Wall of Desolation: GREAT thrash metal
The Comet is Coming - The Afterlife: not the best jazz album of the year but it’s among the cream of the crop.
Detherous - Hacked to Death: Fine death metal.
Renounced - Beauty is a Destructive Angel: if you like early aughts style metalcore these guys are really really good at it. Not usually my thing so I did get pretty bored after a few tracks.
Electric Chair - Performative Justice: very good hardcore punk record.
