It was insane how quickly our fan base turned on each other after the rebrand. A small vocal minority kicked off but the vast majority shot them down. My lot all cancelled our season tickets and it took me 10 years to go back down, I was ridiculed. Ultimately, most will accept any terms for foreign investment if it means success. |

what kind of american would watch league one? you guys dont even watch it When there are occasional league one and two matches on espn plus I have them on at least as background noise. They realistically only have like 10-20 a season. But I am also a weird shut in that is willing to watch replays of sporting events that have already concluded. |

I’m loving James K going to his first tournament and finding out how class they are. i always knew they were but jesus this is light years better than ANY american sporting experience in virtually every category. All international aways are like this. 2-5k of you go take over a square in a foreign city and mingle with the locals. I know boys who’ve barely missed an away in 40 years. I always remember someone saying in here how much they’d hate travelling around Europe watching their team. What’s that shite meme, ‘the American mind cannot comprehend’. |

Oh and I’m intrigued on how FIFA goes about 2026. Seems like 90% or tickets for the Euros have ended up going to the allocated teams. Do they give out huge allocations for the atmosphere? Or do they go all in on ‘growing the game’ and cater mostly to locals?

was driving back from vacation and saw about 20 argentina fans sitting by a rest stop on I95 waving flags and making all the truckers blow their horn over the weekend, unfortunately that's probably the best entertainment they can have in this shit country.
