Just to get this out of the way while we're sort of on the topic, there are things you should remember when chalie does the armchair therapist shtick and feigns expertise. He is not an LMFT, LCSW, or anything of the sort, nor is he on track to become one. When he (pretends to) consult the DSM5 (which many actual professionals only use for health insurance coverage purposes), he's not acting as a licensed professional because he is not in any way qualified to provide diagnoses. In fact, it would be a violation of professional ethics for him to do so! I don't think he's ever claimed to be an expert, plus his posts are clearly not something any professional would suggest... like killing yourself god damn it AL just like the fucking post |
