I tinder matched with a friend who used to live here, moved away, and just moved back and I'm trying to figure out if this is a date or a friend match and it's fucking with my mind.She invited me out tomorrow and I'm trying to figure out how to approach it so it don't fuck it up or make things weird, I was in this situation 4 years ago. There definitely has to be a level of attraction to one another beforehand. I ended up friend zoning her after the second date by being honest and telling them I would rather hang out as friends in more of a group setting. She ended up being real petty by blocking me everywhere and telling everyone in our group of friends how much of a piece of shit I am. Am I wrong for being straightforward? Anyway, I hope this works out for you. |

I can't hang with the Satanic singles crowd. I do not fit in as I do not play video games or table games, watch Japanimation, read comics or listen to ghost. I don't know if this is a relief or if I'm doing something very very wrong just from reading this page of this thread right now, i feel like i'm in a similar place to you. i want to date, but i don't know if i really have it in me to put up with people who aren't into the same shit as me, or who are gonna expect me to be into a bunch of shit that i'm not about. which is frustrating because most of the people i've been meeting don't really have many similar interests, and even if we vibe well otherwise, i already know from the jump there's not enough there, so it doesn't really feel worth it to put in the effort. |

Out of sheer curiosity and the amount of free time I have on business travel, I've decided to give Satanism a good read. To my surprise, my entire belief system aligns with The Church of Satan. However, I will never call myself a Satanist, it's interesting finding something to relate to.

Turns out she wanted to get together because her current/our former roommate is physically and emotionally abusing her and has been for months and she needs my help to get a restraining order.
Definitely not trying to date ANYBODY any time soon but this guy is as toxic as they come and deserves to get fucked over.

I had a dream last night that my parents invited my ex-girlfriend to my graduation party and the first couple of brief forced interactions wen't alright but then she got up on a table and started going OFF about everything i did wrong in the relationship & some embarrassing (to say the least) things that happened to me while we were together.
I woke up fucking furious. I think this is a sign that I'm not over it still, which is wack.
I also almost fought my parents about this this morning but then remembered it wasn't real.
Love sucks.

But more than likely you're going to have a slug fest with current dude and wind up in cuffs. I'm not saying don't help. But take care of #1 while you do it. But yeah I'm aware of the risks of involving myself and definitely making sure that I'm doing what I can to be supportive without directly putting my ass on the line. At the end of the day this isn't my problem and I did warn her this would happen.
