Chalie is touchstarved for likes. His compulsive need to be seen as a "ladies man" and a foremost expert on dating is something that truly disturbs and disgusts me, but at the same time I can't look away because he just sinks lower and lower in his pursuit of validation from people on the internet. Keep in mind, this is a man well into his 30's that works with kids. If you are someone that wants the responsibility of taking on a role of a step dad then by all means do what you feel is right especially if you love said person but that is a very difficult life decision to make. Starting again is a phenomenal chance to find love after coming out of something that didnβt work. Itβs a long road sometimes so when you find that love and happiness itβs a blessing. Everyone should be able to experience that. Iβm guarded because people can often be complicated and toxic but if youβre a single woman coming out of a bad situation I would be open minded in dating! Respectfully, this is in no way the same thing as what your wise friends (and by extenstion you) think about dating divorced moms: My friends are big on the phrase βdonβt swim where another man has drownβ so with that in mind I tread water lightly with divorced moms.
