it really is weird. i'm dating right now and I clearly am fucked up since I am getting annoyed when my boyfriend is being too nice to me. wtf? I like him, I like being with him, but at the same time it feels suffocating sometimes.

I feel the exact same way with my now ex and the one before... I dont know if ive been holding onto old ideas of a really good relationship i had a few years back or Im just not mentally ready for a serious relationship but it def is a weird one.

speaking of not disclosing your job. some girl messaged me on Bumble today and we started talking. i asked where she worked and she said at a country club. i asked which one cause there's a chance i valeted at it back in the day. she says she won't disclose that til she knows me better. i was like "you think i'm gonna stalk you or something? i'm not that desperate nor do i have the time or energy" and she proceeds to go off about how she doesn't tell guys cause they "get political and give her shit about it" yadda yadda and "i can tell you're a liberal so you're probably really defensive and uptight so i'm gonna block you" and i'm like "wtf is this girl going on about"

then later i thought about it, and it makes sense.

Correct- I used to work in the field of medical supplies in a warehouse. Shit happens, me getting canned was literally a blessing- now I’m self employed, doing pretty decent and have none of the stress that comes with working for someone else.

Haha, last year I met a girl on Tinder that wouldn't tell me where she worked, either. I also casually asked where she lived to make conversation, and she just gave me the general area of the smallish college town I was in. It was so weird, although if someone had a bad experience with this, I guess I get it.
