Are we all in agreement that A Black Mile to the Surface is easily their best album? Okay good

Everything about this band is hit or miss with me. There’s not a single album that I love as a whole from them. But the songs I like, I really, really like.

i haven't but i'll listen tomorrow It obviously doesn’t rock as hard. But I think it’s their most complete album, in terms of sonic cohesion and song flow and stuff.

It's pretty awesome, though I don't like how they continued the chords from The Alien, Sunshine and Grocery... it's obviously pieced together like one song but it eats up the album for me. I saw them on this tour and it put a lot of songs in perspective, they closed with the Silence which I didn't appreciate till then. I'm going with Simple Math.

The Silence is my favorite Manchester song now.
