Knives Out Is just sheer entertainment, not one second is wasted. When Johnson is good, he’s real good.
and that cast!

Saw Little Women last night, this movie has a lot of heart and Greta Gerwig is killing it. Hits all the right notes for a bittersweet, big studio drama. Also maybe the only non Harry Potter Emma Watson role I’ve seen and she did alright. I cried bro

Just watched Coherence. A GREAT low-budget "sci-fi" with similar vibes to Primer. It's on hulu and prime video.

Anyone been having a problem with a certain streaming site that rhymes with lefdoovies?
I tried a few different things yesterday, clicking the play button did absolutely nothing. This was using the Microsoft Edge browser on Xbox One. I tried rebooting, closing Edge, refreshing, etc, nothing works. Ran fine on my laptop though. Anyone have experience with this?

watched Bloodsport, Scanners, Terminator 2, and The Fog over the last 3 days with my girl. Bloodsport and T2 will always be two of my favorite movies. Was my first time seeing the other two.

I also ate edibles when I saw it. Twas a good time. Never saw Genesis or Dark Fate. I don't like Dark Fate being a direct sequel cuz it ignores T3, which I actually liked (haven't seen it in years, so maybe it doesn't hold up; Nick Stahl is also great in Bully). As with everything else that Hollywood churns out nowadays, it seemed to me like no thought as put into it beyond "T2 is unanimously the best one, so lets get Linda Hamilton back for that sweet dose of nostalgia." Also apparently John Conner gets killed off in the beginning of the movie, and I haven't seen it so I don't know exactly how they work that into the plot and have it make sense. You'd think that they'd keep the character alive, since hes in the middle of the entire plot of every other terminator film and their goal is to keep him alive to lead the resistance. While I thought Salvation was pretty lackluster, I like that it was about John actually sending Kyle Reese back to the events of the first film.

The new Terminator is definitely okay but the last half of it REALLY suffers after a promising first 30-45 minutes. In regards to your spoiler - they explain it in a way that makes sense (as much as a movie this dumb can make sense).

I don't think it's possible for me too be more burnt out on the Terminator series.

I couldn't stand how Arnold's character factored into Dark Fate.

Terminator stopped after T2.
I'm not some action movie purist and I don't have a fundamental problem with them making more, but those first two movies were absolute perfection (and in their own unique ways) so I have no desire at all to see what are obviously inferior iterations. If I want to watch a middling action movie -- and maybe I do! -- I don't look towards Terminator 3-whatever they're at now.

Watched The Witch last night. Between this and The Lighthouse, I’m really excited to see what Eggers does going forward.

Also watched Holy Motors last night... didn't dig. I get why people would, especially with how open to interpretation it is, but it didn't work for me. The accordion scene bangs, tho.
